Animals on the Farm
Like most farms, Ryerse Glen Farm is host to a whole slew of critters, both large and small.
As mentioned on the homepage, Blizzard is one of the farm's *Greeters*.   He is a White German Shepherd with an insatiable love for life.   He is always looking for someone to play with, to throw a stick, ball, rock or whatever so that he can chase it.
Cloud is the other *Greeter* here on the farm.   Although not as bouncy and exhuberant as Blizzard, she can still be quite goofy and is very persistent in seeking affection.   Cloud is a full sister to Blizzard, they are separated in age by one litter, and about 6 months.
Blizzard and Cloud wrestle and attack each other on a pretty regular basis, in most cases it can be quite amusing to watch!!
Barley, a Yellow Lab, doesn't actually live on the farm with us. She belongs to our neighbours and usually ends up comming over to see what's going on and to try and get both Blizzard and Cloud into some sort of mischief.
Boarders can (and do!) bring their dogs out to the farm with them.   As long as the dogs are sociable with other dogs & horses and are up to date on their vaccinations, they are more than welcome at Ryerse Glen Farm.
George is the resident barn cat at Ryerse Glen Farm.   SHE is a tortoiseshell female born in the spring of 2005.   She is still rather young but she has proven that she can handle pest control without a problem, PLUS, there isn't a friendlier cat around!!
Tootsie came to the farm after Chester disappeared as a feral kitten that was afraid of people.   She now rivals George for friendliness, and when she and George aren't hunting, they are wrestling or huddled up together in a mass of orange and black fur.
Humphrey does not live out in the barn, but in the house, and is quickly noticed by everyone who comes inside.   SHE is budgie that travelled to University and College with Charlotte, and enjoys typing on the keyboard.   She is a friendly little bird that enjoys loose flights around the house and can sometimes talk.
"Brat" (Chestnut) & "Joey" (Grey) belong to the owners.   They were naturally the first horses to move onto the farm, shown here their first day in the one pasture.   Brat is a registered half-Arabian, and Joey is an unregistered Anglo-Arab.
Charlotte LOVES aquarium fish, in particular Goldfish.

In the house there is 92 gallon corner bowfront aquarium set up with goldfish on the main floor of the house and a 60 gallon aquarium with an array of African Cichlids in the basement.

Cheyenne or *SHY* is a goofy looking Percheron/Quarter horse cross with a teddy bear personality.   He is one of the farm's lesson and Part-board horses.
RedBird is a drop-dead gorgeous Oldenburg mare that is now here at the farm.   She has been bred and is IN-Foal to Freestyle (black Westphalian Stallion) for Ryerse Glen Farm's first foal, and hopefully the start of some fantastic breeding stock!
